Yubika Chettri

Yubika Chettri, a proud alumna of Sikkim Himalayan Academy’s 2014 batch, has realized her dream of teaching alongside her former principal, GS Gurung Sir, whose inspiration guided her back to her roots. Thriving in her beloved profession, she enjoys the unique camaraderie of working with her classmate, Hussel Zangpo Bhutia.

The first in her family to pursue higher education, Yubika is currently studying BA Sociology at IGNOU, with plans for a B.Ed. to extend her tenure at SHA. Starting in February 2021, she has not only made her father proud but also supports him financially, embodying dedication and gratitude in every step of her journey.
