Nedup Bhutia

Nedup Bhutia, an esteemed alumnus of Sikkim Himalayan Academy’s 2012 batch, has been a pillar of strength and wisdom since his early days. Hailing from the tranquil monastery town of Tashiding, he joined SHA as part of the second batch in 2004, contributing significantly to the school's initial setup.

After completing his primary education at SHA, Needup finished his class 12 in Kalimpong and pursued higher education in Sociology, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Tadong College. His deep understanding of social dynamics and personal experiences have shaped him into a compassionate and insightful individual.

Raised by his brave grandmother in a struggling family, Nedup possesses a maturity and patience that belies his years. As the backbone of SHA, he supports Principal GS Gurung with unwavering dedication, ensuring the school's and hostel's smooth running. Nedup's reliability and grounded nature make him a trusted figure whom everyone depends on, embodying the spirit of resilience and service that defines Sikkim Himalayan Academy.
